I don't know about you but Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week. Here lately it has involved church, pool time, and an afternoon nap. I am so happy to finally find a church I am growing to love. Everyone is just so sweet and welcoming and I could listen to the pastor for hours. Also, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy getting dressed up.

side note- do any of you get blurry pictures when its humid outside? how do I fix this?

After church the hubby was sweet enough to watch baby girl and let me get some quiet pool time and grocery shopping done. I cooked dinner for the first time in FOREVER.

We had salmon patties and peas from the garden and its probably one of our favorite meals. I really enjoy cooking and would love to cook a big Sunday dinner every week, but lots of times I'm just too lazy.

I usually wrap up the weekend with a glass of California Chardonnay and the RHOOC..

The only thing that would make the day better would be an extra hour or two in the day to squeeze in more family time. What's your favorite day of the week?

  1. Your dinner looks fantastic! Did you make the salmon patties from scratch?

I have a rotating schedule, so I don't have a set 'day' off, but when I did I always loved Sundays. Especially Sundays on the boat - simply the best since they ususally involved champagne.

  2. What a yummy dinner! I am meal planning for the week right're giving me some great ideas!! I could watch RHOOC all day long!

  3. YUM kendal jackson, and peas from your own garden?! too cool!
i'd have to say my favorite day is friday because the anticipation of the weekend is there, and its just that feeling of aww yeah! LOL!

PS as usual you and carsyn are beyond ADORABLE.
and the louis bag ain't bad either **DROOLS**

  4. I do LOVE me some Sundays..and Saturday mornings are a favorite time of week for me too. Your dinner looks delish:)

  5. I am so glad her little dress fit! You both look so cute!

  6. So glad I found you! Thank you for your sweet comment over at My Crack in the Grigsby Life! Your baby girl is SO cute! We find out what our little one is next Wednesday. Cannot wait.
AND yes I am feeling SO much better- it was also 15 weeks for me when I started to feel like a normal person again. Now I get to go and catch up here!

  7. I'm so glad you've found a church. It is so important to feel loved and at home when you're at church. I love your bag in the picture. Any details on it?
