The Great Outdoors

It hit near 90 degrees in KY this weekend and we took advantage and visited the Natural Bridge State Park. We strapped baby girl in the baby bjorn and started what I thought would be an easy 3/4 mile uphill hike.

I definitely am not in as good of shape as I thought I was and we had to make several stops. Of course the hubby loved taking pics of me huffing and puffing..

Finally we reached the top..

Gorgeous..

and Carsyn loved it..she really had a ball..

(You may notice I have the shellac on my nails here. The color I picked is a little pale, but otherwise I love it. I'll let you ladies know how long it lasts!)

  1. Oh my gosh- you must have been so hot carrying her. What a great workout - I bet your back and legs are shot.

  2. I bet it makes a big difference since you had Carsyn strapped to you! I've heard of shellac manicures, but I haven't tried one. I'd love to hear what you think!

  3. How cute is she in her bjorn?!?! Love it. I'm impressed you even attempted the hike. Can't be easy, especially with the extra (adorable) weight of lil Carsyn!

  4. Hello, why wasn't your man carrying Carsyn? LOL! I mean seriously, I break a sweat hiking up to Natural Bridge and that is without packing a baby!

I think I will try the Shellac next, I just did the OPI gel and I'm not that happy with it!
